"I'm going to be an actor, a rockstar first and then an actor." Ben said that in a home-video when he was 4 years old. 4 years later he did his first play. His elementary school's production of Heidi. He played Peter (The Fun-loving Goatboy). He loved it. But, he wouldn't get back on stage until High School. He reintroduced himself with a One Act Play called Imagine about a young fan waiting to meet John Lennon. That restarted the fire and Ben continued with performances as Paul in A Chorus Line, Smee in Peter Pan, & George in You Can't Take It With You. These were enough to inspire the school's theater teacher to nominate him for a scholarship called the Maryland Distinguished Scholars. He managed to receive the scholarship after auditioning with two monologues; Paul's from A Chorus Line & Puck's from A Midsummer Night's Dream. He accepted a full ride at Towson University in Baltimore as a Theater Major. By this time, Ben was becoming more interested in writing original music. He joined / started a rock band and spent the next 5 years pursuing a music career. Once the band ran its course, a blessed phone-call from a friend met at Towson came through. They offered Ben a place to stay in LA to give an acting career a shot. Before Ben's plane even landed, he had a background job in a Music Video. Within a month he booked a national commercial. Within 6 months he booked a part on Modern Family. From there, Ben continued to book day-player roles on popular shows and national commercials for the next 14 years. In December of 2022, his cousin Matthew Hirschhorn wrote him a role in his debut feature film; Wine Club. Shortly thereafter, Ben snagged his first series regular. As Trevor in the first-of-its-kind genre bending Freevee show; Jury Duty. Hellbent on improving with every opportunity, we can only imagine what's next...
