Brandi Maxiell

Brandi is married to NBA power forward Jason Maxiell. The couple met each other when they were in high school. Together, they have one child, Jason II. She appeared as herself on the VH1 reality show Basketball Wives LA, where she claimed she wanted to use the platform to share more information on ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 24. After undergoing surgery and many chemotherapy treatments, she was declared cancer-free in 2008. Brandi Maxiell is also the owner of Midway Salon & Suites as well as Brandi Maxiell Cosmetics . Maxiell has also been featured on a variety of television shows. Some of this includes Access Hollywood, The Insider, E! True Hollywood Story, The Arsenio Hall Show, The Doctors, Iyanla Fix My Life.
