Ruy Malheiro

Ruy Malheiro was born in Luso, Portugal. Theater Master degree at Escola Superior Teatro e Cinema (IPL - Lisboa), final average 18 values . Jan 2016. In his artistic route counts more than seventy participation in Theatre Plays, Dance Shows, Café-Teatro as well as some TV Series and Cinema participation. Resident actor at Escola Da Noite (Coimbra between 1997 and 1999) and at Trigo Limpo Teatro A.C.E.R.T. (Tondela between 1999 and 2008). Worked with creators such as José Rui Martins; Pompeu José; Marta Pazos; Denis Chabroullet; Rogério De Carvalho; Pierre Voltz; António Augusto Barros; Peter Michael Dietz; Fernanda Lapa; Isabel Medina; Carlos J. Pessoa; Jorge Gomes Ribeiro; José Medeiros; among others. Several projects in which it had its position as Warden; Staging Assistant; Actors Direction; Scene Direction and Choreographic Direction. Production and Communication Director of Escola De Mulheres; Buzico! Produções Artísticas and Intruso - Associação Cultural. Artistically, he is the mentor of the project "Curtas De Teatro Fora De Portas" a short show of Microtheatre, traveling through unconventional spaces in historic buildings, architecturally relevant as for example, castles, museums, chapels, etc. in several localities of Portugal. In this project, in addition to the Art and Production Director, he is author and actor too.
