Matthew Oquendo

Matthew Oquendo has been writing and directing films since the age of 15. An avid movie fan, his film education was spent in movie theaters and repeated home viewings, studying every camera move, edit, and themes that would later inspire him to make his own films. Matt celebrates every aspect of filmmaking, particularly relishing in the construction of it. As a result, he's spent years making films in the roles of DP, editor, and sound, in addition to writing and directing, because he enjoys the filmmaking process. Visual storytelling is what drives Matt's work. His other passion is photography, which influences his visual ideas.
