Evan Silver is an Emmy-nominated and Cannes Lion winning comedy writer and director. He has received many awards for his film and TV work which continually crosses into mainstream pop-culture. He recently co-executive produced, wrote and directed an original, ten-episode comedy series for TBS Networks about real life internet trolls. His short films ("Nam Son! Son," "White Squad," and "Human Auto-Correct") developed a cult following after going viral online and receiving international press and honors. Evan received an EMMY nomination for a series of 30 videos he wrote and directed for MTV called "Tu Pride." When Conan O'Brien was hosting the MTV Movie Awards, MTV asked Evan to direct the in-show comedy sketch "Conan's Geek Squad" starring Conan, Jamie Fox, Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield. MTV also brought Evan in to direct a series of comedy sketches and promotions when Aziz Ansari hosted, and then again when Rebel Wilson took the reigns three years later. Evan is also known for writing and directing the controversial short video, "Reverse Party" for the infamous UK show "Skins" American debut. The controversial video quickly received millions of views while creating unprecedented buzz-thus getting picked up by every major news outlet. The pilot episode went on to have one of MTV's highest debuts for a new series ever. Evan has also written and directed comedy shorts, sketches and promos for Comedy Central, MTV, TBS, FunnyorDie, The Daily Show, HBO, IFC, College Humor, Vice, Paramount Films, Sony Pictures, Disney Studios and Fox Studios.
