George Seder

George Edward Seder was born in Saginaw, Michigan and lived out his childhood in the East Central region of the state. He is of French/Swedish and Irish/English descent. He attended Whittemore-Prescott Public Schools until he finished his senior year and received his high school diploma from Vassar Adult Education in Vassar, Michigan. George became interested in acting at a very early age when, after a particularly saddening film scene, his Grandfather, Richard, explained that the scenes being portrayed were not real events. These people on television were actors pretending to be other people. The actors had "moved" him emotionally and he wanted others to experience the same empathy. There was no doubt that he wanted to be an actor someday. He wasn't sure how to make it happen but, from that moment on, he never watched films and television the same way ever again. He "always watched the actors and the subtle things that they did to give their performance realism." His early acting influences included Clark Gable, Andy Griffith, Marlon Brando, Raymond Burr, Michael Caine and Clint Eastwood. As a teenager, his acting influences included Michael Landon, Bill Bixby, Alan Alda, Lee Majors and Jack Nicholson. As an adult, he learned that becoming a great actor required a rather large commitment and personal sacrifice. With a family to raise, George enlisted in the military and didn't actively pursue an acting career until 2008. He nailed his very first audition; making his acting debut in the independent feature film "Harmless Thoughts." After two unsuccessful auditions following his first success, he began to perfect his audition technique, build his confidence as an actor and study the finer details of his craft.
