David Loeb Weiss

Born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1911 or 1912, Weiss was highly educated, earning a Master's Degree in Political Science from the New School of Social Research. He held a variety of jobs and also roamed the country for a time as a 'hobo' before finishing his career at the New York Times as a Linotype operator, which led directly to his final film.
