Roberto Navarro

Roberto Navarro was born and raised in a farming community of the Salinas Valley in Central California. Immediately after high school, he left the small town to attend UCLA. He eventually received a BA in Film & Television and an MFA in Film Directing and Production from UCLA's School of Theater, Film, and Television. His short film Regador, which Roberto filmed in his hometown along with Justin Lin, was shown throughout many film festivals around the world and garnered numerous awards. And for the next twenty-four years, Roberto has continued making short films and has recently branched out into feature films.
