Max de Ponti

Born in Cittiglio (Varese, Italy) he now lives in Como, Italy. In 2004 he graduated in Politecnico of Milan in Industrial Design, with a Master degree in Movie Design. He then moved to New York in 2004 and obtained a diploma as cinematographer and film director at New York Film Academy. In January 2005 he opened with Mattia Amadori and Andrea Corti a video production company in Como, named OLO creative farm. He wrote and directed shorts, movies, music videos, visuals and video art installations, working with Italian and international institutions, brands, museums and music bands, such as Muse, Jet, The City of Milan, Art Science Museum in Singapore, Indianapolis Museum of Art, Tsinghua University Museum in Beijing, MITO music festival, the Milan Film Festival, the Biblioteca Ambrosiana and MuDeC Museum. He wrote and directed his first feature length documentary "The Genius of a Place" (www.thegeniusofaplace.com) and he's involved with Mattia Amadori in writing the screenplay for his first feature movie "Prologue" and the screenplay for a TV series "11 days".
