Born on October 17th 1983, Ernesto is a Film School graduate from the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. His short films, Número Equivocado (Wrong Number) and Esmalte Rojo (Red Nail Polish) were part of the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner in 2015 and 2016 respectively. His first short film Oidos Sordos (Deaf Ears) Won the IV National College Short Film Festival Cortocinema in 2006 (México).
