Maree Lowes stars as 'dirtgirl', IRL & in the international hit kids TV shows 'Get Grubby TV' and 'dirtgirlworld' - which airs in 128 countries around the world and has won many accolades including an AFI/AACTA Award, multiple ADG Awards and an International Digital Emmy© Award. In 2018, Maree played the lead female in an NRL Campaign to affect change for the better. She also starred as Cass in "Prairie', a short Thriller about about the relationship between nature and humanity. Maree was one of two Hosts / Ambassadors in a documentary series for the Australian Government due for release in 2019. Past work for Maree includes playing the lead female in the film clip for Universal Music Australia artist, Dean Lewis 'Need You Now' and performing as a 'Collector' in the Blank Placard Dance Replay at the Sydney Opera House. Maree can also be seen in #goodtimes, 'The Last Stupid Thing' and Miramar Productions' / Screen NSW's 'Waiting for the Turning of the Earth' - AACTA Award nominee. Maree is unique, she is the vessel for dirtgirl. She embodies this alter persona IRL and in 2018 has been travelling around Australia, connecting with families and empowering them to write new stories for themselves. As 'dirtgirl' she has also attended the 2018 ARIA Awards, played music on a festival mainstage alongside the likes of Tim Finn and Kate Miller-Heidke and took her role as 'dirtgirl' to the stage at the Sydney Opera House. She is also in demand as a versatile voiceover artist. She has studied with respected industry directors including Ian Watson, Peter Andrikidis and Tony Tilse and other renowned tutors at NIDA, 16th Street Actors Centre, Melbourne and the Actors Centre, Sydney. She also works as a Voice Over artist, having completed projects for the University of Newcastle, iTalkTravel, a soon-to-be released animated short film and dirtgirlworld.
