Ria Huang

Ria Huang is a U.S. actress, model, and writer, born in Taipei, Taiwan. Her family had immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts when she was two years old. Both Parents were computer engineers. At age 10, her family moved back to Taiwan for seven years, where she was able to learn her native language and society. She was heavily influenced by Hong Kong Films while living in East Asia during her adolescence. At age 17, she started modelling part-time. After graduating from the American High School in Tien Mu, she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia for college. Originally majoring in Pharmaceutical Biology and then switching to art and film. She had worked in various industries while trying to write screenplays. In 2009 she met a producer in Honolulu, who was interested in casting her for a miniseries and encouraged her to act. Now working in Los Angeles and Honolulu actively as a film actress.
