Joshua Calder

Joshua Calder is a self-made writer/director/producer who grew up in a creative household surrounded by family and friends with performance arts backgrounds. Over a ten year period Josh has had the chance to observe first-hand some of the masters of Hollywood movie-making, including Oscar nominated/winning cinematographers Roger Deakins, John Seale and Dante Spinotti, as well as Director's James Mangold, Angelina Jolie, Taika Waititi and George Miller. Josh has made over 20 music videos and short films, many of which have been accepted into festivals such as Cannes Short Film Corner, FlickerFest, Hollyshorts, and Filmquest. Josh's films have also been curated and promoted on the popular online short sites Film Shortage, Director's Notes and Film Ink.
