Steven Drew

Steven Drew, is an independent British film director, screen writer, producer and actor. Before film, Drew worked as a lyricist and music manager, representing artists such as Victoria Beckham. After five years in music, Drew, returned to his passion of acting, appearing in UK theatre productions and small film roles. In 2003 to 2005, Drew, made a series of short, quickly establishing himself as a serious film maker. In 2009, he wrote and directed the controversial gang crime film 'The Estate,' which on its release attracted media attention due its violent gang content and heavy racial dialogue, winning industry and media praise for it's authenticity and realism. In 2011, Drew became known as new kind of film director, and has since worked with others. In 2019, Drew released the British Indian movie 'Deceitful Love', which like his previous works obtained good distribution. Steven Drew is currently known as an independent film director, writer, producer, and children's story book writer.
