Gina Loudon, Ph.D. is an author, anchor, columnist, show host, and frequent news commentator. Gina Loudon grew up close to the Ozark mountains in Missouri. In school, she enjoyed cheerleading and dance, especially Hula and Tahitian dancing, and she studied in Hawaii. She remains an avid water and snow skier. From an early age, her father, a dentist and inventor, debated political issues with her, which may have led to her career as a political talk show host. Gina studied design, communications, and psychology in college. She eventually earned two master's degrees and a Ph.D. Dr. Loudon wrote her dissertation [title, institution, and year needed] on her own theory contrasting Sternberg's theory of love with the Maslovian hierarchical needs, and then applied it, hermeneutically, to existing data on relationships. Her original findings in her research are still being used today [citations needed]. Her first master's degree, from St. Louis University, was withheld from her for what she believed were political reasons, but it was eventually granted to her, years later. She claims that this experience solidified her political perspective and made her more aware of political and social injustice. She met her husband, John W. Loudon, while pursuing her bachelor's degree at William Woods University. They were married at his alma mater, Westminster College, in the 17th century church, St. Mary, Aldermanbury, where Winston Churchill made the Iron Curtain Speech. Senator Loudon and Dr. Loudon were there when President Reagan dedicated a portion of the Iron Curtain on the campus of Westminster College. Her husband, John, ran for State Representative shortly after they were married and was re-elected the maximum number of terms allowed by law. He then ran for and won a senate seat and was re-elected until he was term-limited out of office. Gina started doing a talk show on KJSL and, within a year, was regionally syndicated and moved to Alabama to broadcast from the company's 100,000 watt flagship station, WYDE. She was host of the drive-time, Dr. Gina Show, that was one of the fastest-selling shows on Crawford Broadcasting's family of stations. She hosts America Trends, a television show based on social media and trends of the day, aired on cable networks in 32 million homes nationwide, as well as ROKU, Amazon, and others. She is a frequent analyst on all major cable networks including FOX News, FOX Business, CNN, CSPAN, and MSNBC, commenting on the issues of the day including politics, psychology, body language, business, special needs adoption, and women's issues. She is a certified hypnotherapist [credentials needed], but does not practice. She has written for Breitbart, FOX News.com, Townhall.com, and WND.com. She was named one of the "10 Hottest Women in New Media" and also "Top 50 Best Conservative Columnists" of 2016 [citation needed]. She was an official media surrogate and spokesperson to the campaign of Donald J. Trump for President in 2016. Her latest book, titled "What Women REALLY Want" was published in 2014, and she has a new book due to be released in 2017. Her book, "Ladies and Gentlemen" published in 2012, is a historical non-fiction book about the roles people play in society and how they can change their role. Dr. Loudon and her family live in California, and spends time in New York and Los Angeles.
