Julia Rowland

Julia Rowland is an award-winning writer, producer and director. Her short film credits include Cherry (2016), and Sorry For Your Loss (2017). Her writing has appeared in Toronto Life Magazine, Reel Honey, The Bookends Review, and other online and print publications. As a multifaceted storyteller, Julia has also worked as a producer for various production companies including Corus Entertainment, Diamond Integrated Marketing and Notch Video. Despite disliking camping or any vigorous outdoor activities, Julia gravitates towards stories where landscapes and nature play an integral part in the narrative. Julia is a recent graduate of the Canadian Film Centre, where she developed two feature films, Greta Follows Rivers and Parentals.
