Marcy was born in Havana, Cuba and from the age of four was raised in Washington, D.C. and Maryland. She is fluent in both English and 'neutral' Spanish. Her major was in Psychology but decidedly found Metaphysics far superior in her quest to the fundamental 'why' and 'how' of life .... questions she had entertained since childhood, which brought her many years later to write her first book, "Your Electric Self" (the interface between spirit, mind, emotions and body as energy systems). She was a holistic health care practitioner and counselor in Florida for 3 decades, was interviewed on 100+ national and international TV shows, lectured in several national markets, and still offers metaphysical workshops. Her childhood passion for acting was rekindled after retiring from healthcare, and since then has appeared on numerous Hispanic telenovelas, films, commercials and infomercials, in both Spanish and English. She performed in musical comedy and drama in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia theatrical venues,, and was a vocalist with the American Light Opera Company and the National Symphony Orchestra. In New York, she performed in two off-Broadway shows, and was a vocalist at "Jilly's Nightclub", "The Village Gate" and "The Bitter End". One of her fond memories was being selected, at 23, as one of three finalists for the lead in Broadway's "Hair", but she opted out considering the nude scene. Two years later, she married and moved to Las Vegas, where she performed at the Silver Slipper, hosted two television programs, did numerous television and radio commercials and voice-overs for HBO and numerous clients, as well as hosted national conventions for many years representing Matsushita (Panasonic).
