Jay Pennington

Jay Pennington is an award winning screenwriter, director, and actor who convincingly takes on with full dedication an extremely wide range of roles, stories, and emotions within drama and comedy. Jay was born and raised in San Antonio, TX. As a child his parents also owned a small cabin in the Texas hill country where he spent most weekends and summers developing a love for the outdoors and riding horses. At age 7 he started watching PBS' Classic Foreign and US Cinema which made a lifelong impression for great films. As a teenager he was a regular attendee of the Olmos Theater which showed classic American and foreign films on a 3 day rotation. Outdoors and the love & study of great films. At 6 ft 3 with blue eyes and long graying hair, Jay takes on any quality role - 1880's Westerns, period pieces such as Vikings era, Civil War etc, modern day love interest, heroes & villains and also Texans of all eras - heroes and gritty characters. Today he lives in the Texas hill country on acreage adjoining other ranches - riding horses regularly and with an obsession for acting of any needed but quality character. Recently Jay was the foiled comic relief person of interest for a Magnum PI episode.
