Clare Asher

Clare Asher was born in 1948 to parents Doctor Richard Asher and music teacher Margaret Asher (née Eliot). She has two older siblings: musician and producer Peter Asher and actress, cook and novelist Jane Asher. She was a former radio/voice actress, but now she's a schoolteacher. She married John Gillies on 5 April 1975 and they had two daughters, Sarah (b. 1978) and Helen (b. 1980).
