Antonio Reed was born December 9, 1988 in the very small and country town of Folkston, Georgia, where there is a boasting population of 2,000 people, no walmart, one grocery store, and everyone is related in some way or another. He is his Mother's only son, with four sisters; two older and two younger. With English, Language Arts, and American Literature being his favorite subjects in grade school, he originally set his ambitions towards being a writer. He has written some sixty poems and short story's which he hopes to have published one day. Though he still loves to write, his focus switched to Acting when he auditioned for the Advanced Drama Department of Camden County High School in 2005. He was accepted and stayed in the program until he graduated in 2007. He had always done plays at his local church , often playing the role of Jesus; but, he describes the instant that he connected with the craft of acting onstage in the Advanced Drama Program as being an almost out of body experience. While in a production of playwright John Guare's, "A few stout individuals", as General Ulysesis S. Grant's servant Harrison, Antonio delivered a monologue which brought many in the audience that night to tears. He would receive continued praise from other cast members and audience members, all telling him how touched and moved they were by his passionate performance. As of August 2007, he lives in Los Angeles, Ca where he is pursuing a career in film acting and film making, striving for more of those out of body experience's.
