Vesa Kuosmanen is a Helsinki based director and screenwriter known for his feature films Night Goes Long and Eläinoikeusjuttu. In addition he has directed several short films, both fiction and documentary. Vesa studied filmmaking in the UK and graduated from University of Wales with MA in Film year 2009. Along with his film work Vesa has co-founded vegan culture space Kolo Helsinki and produced numerous film related festivals, such as Finnish 48-hour filmmaking challenge Uneton48.
