Carmel Savage is a professional Film & Television Actress and Producer. Born in Australia, Carmel's early performing ambitions leaned toward the theater and after a string of successful lead performances, she was awarded the Dux of Theater for her graduating year. After traveling the world, Carmel began studying Drama at the University of Queensland before directing her focus to Film & Television Acting and completed a 2 year course at The Actor's Workshop, the leading Film & TV Training Organisation in Brisbane, Australia. Carmel has continued refining her craft through several intensive training courses with industry professionals throughout the world. Carmel's body of work includes an abundance of short films, feature films, theater productions, fashion shoots, corporate videos, TV shows/pilots, as well as starring in numerous national & international television commercials. Carmel's film performances include the supporting role of Emma in "Still Waters", a feature length horror, which was awarded Official Selection at the 2011 Cannes Palais des Festivals and received an international release in 2011. November 2012 marked the highly anticipated release of "The Killage", awarded 'Best in Festival' at Crystal Palace International Film Festival in London, in which Carmel played the role of Hannah. Following the success of "The Killage", Carmel teamed up with ArtSpear Entertainment again to perform several roles in their local skit-com TV series, "The Void". 2014 was another busy year for Carmel, as she filmed several projects in Australia, including action-adventure film "San Andreas" with Warner Bros Feature Productions and celebrated the release of sci-fi comedy feature "Australiens" (ArtSpear Entertainment) where she played the role of English Teacher. Carmel has worked in a variety of independent films throughout the years following, including performing the role of hotel heiress, Kelly Matric, in the feature film "The Wrong Crowd" (Flying Low Productions) which was released in 2018. Turning her focus to Producing in 2016, Carmel started her production company, Trinity Lane Productions, and began working on several feature film projects with renowned industry professionals. In 2019, Carmel partnered with Mr Biggles Productions and Witch Picture to produce independent feature film, Forever First Love, a romantic drama which was filmed in the Philippines and is marked for international release in 2021. In her quest for world domination, Carmel is set to Produce her next independent feature film in Brisbane, entitled Morning Of The Wedding, as well as pursuing Acting opportunities in the local and international Film & TV industries.
