Kohl V. Bladen was born and raised in California and grew up on the back lots of Hollywood, following his Dad to work. He truly fell in love with horror and filmmaking while on the sets of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Scream 3". Kohl received his degree in television and film production while attending university in Colorado, during his time there he became the person he is today. The first film to ever terrify him was Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece "Psycho". Kohl watched many horror films as a child, but seeing Marion Crane get butchered in the shower of the Bates Motel, truly scared him. That is when he decided that he wanted to make movies and affect people the same way that film and scene affected him.
