As an artist, Felicia June has an eclectic array of many talents. She covers dance, modeling, acting, singing, songwriting, and business in the entertainment industry. Please view the proper heading for her most recent work in each category: Business Felicia June graduated early from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Among her many talents outside of her classroom, June received the Coach's Award and MVP Award in soccer, was an Honor Roll student, graduated from a four year University in three and a half years, received the Excellence in Academic Writing Award her freshman year in college, and was accepted as a member of the first woman's fraternity ever created. After traveling the world, June wanted to have an even greater impact on the salsa community and became the co-founder and CEO of Charlicien, LLC with Salsa World Champions Charlene Rose and Alien Ramirez. With Charlicien, June created the unprecedented 2010 LA Salsa Woman Calendar in which 10% of profit goes to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). In mid-year of 2009, June moved to Chicago, IL and was accepted to The Chicago School of Professional Psychology for her PsyD in Business Psychology. Her most recent internship placed her in North Carolina for the summer in 2010 her at the 3rd best leadership consulting companies in the world according to Fortune 500, the Center for Creative Leadership. Predictably, Felicia continues to achieve in the highest tier of every challenge. Modeling Modeling is one of June's most recent surfacing talents. Aside from being behind the scenes as the producer and director of A-Che Fashion Shows, Parisa Lingerie Photo Shoot, and Charlicien 2009 Calendar Shoot, she has a natural talent in front of the camera. With an impressive dance background, June strutted the catwalk with class and magnetism for A-Che Fashion Shows and at The Miss Teen America Pageant as Miss Golden State Teen America 2003. She has also done print work for the 2010 LA Salsa Woman Calendar as Miss June and for the calendar's first page photo. Acting Acting is one of June's natural talents. As a child, she was involved in school plays every year and played in classics such as Grease, Annie, Broadway, and Alice in Wonderland. In 2009, she was recruited as an extra on the webisode, "Crazy/Sexy/Awkward" for award winning director of the Coca-Cola Refreshing Film Makers Award, Jerome Sable. She is now preparing for the lead role as the Pastor's Daughter in the independent film, Wyatt's Adventure. Dancing At 19 years of age, June's curiosity to explore different cultures triumphed which lead to her involvement in the salsa community. Within 2 years, June won as the 3rd Place Finalist in LA's Top Salsera Competition. Shortly after, she and her dance group, Los Rumberos, became 3rd Place Finalists in The Mayan Group Salsa World Championship. By mid 2007, June became a pioneer of the Ruby Karen Project with World Mayan Salsa Champion Ruby Karen. To engage in more vigorous training, she studied jazz and ballet hosted by Millennium Dance Studio in Studio City. Her salsa dance training began with Abel Pena, three- time ESPN World Champion in 2005-2007, and Francisco Vazquez, the creator of LA style salsa. It was not long until she began teaching her own salsa classes at every hot salsa venue in LA, including Monsoon, Sachi, Club Tatou and soon joined LearnSalsa.com teaching classes with over 100 people. June quickly expanded and began traveling with Francisco Vazquez as his partner, performing and teaching salsa workshops all over the world, such as Italy, Romania, Mexico, Belgium, and Switzerland. In addition to her meticulous work schedule outside the country, June was hired as a Group Exercise Instructor at the world's leading fitness club, Sports Club LA, LA. Here, only the top 1% of applicants are chosen to be a team member of the company. In TV, Felicia was one of the top five contestants on the reality television show Dirty Dancing, partnering with Ballroom World Champion Jonathan Curtis and choreographer Keith Young, aired on the Women's Entertainment channel in 2006. In 2009, June performed at The Mayan World Championship with Salsa group World Champion Johnny Vargas, and was seen again on TV for The Conga Room Championship Competition dancing Salsa, Bachata, Meringue, and Hip-Hop with 3rd Place Mayan Group World Salsa Champion, Erick Calvillo. In 2010, Felicia June partnered with owner of A&E Dance Studios, Eduardo Diaz, and won gold as US Salsa Professional Champions in the On-2 Division, among other winnings. To her, this is a new partnership with a promising future. Today, June is best known for her infamous Spinning and Styling workshops, her charismatic solo performances, her Salsa Foundations classes, and her agility to transform every social dance into a new dimension in every part of the world. Singing At the Hollywood Pop Academy, Alex Cantrell, Grammy nominee songwriter and producer, articulates, "Felicia always gives a performance worth paying for." Her style is one that no one expects to see, but everyone can relate to. She has the voice of rock n' roll star and moves like an R&B artist, mixed with an exotic Middle Eastern zest and Latin flavor. Felicia's style is the product of her origin and environmental experiences intertwined. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California with a half Persian and half Caucasian background. Felicia's singing demo is one of charisma, professionalism, and originality. She has no doubt that these new songs will be a hit- she is often found in the top tier of any music related project. Additionally, Felicia was in the top 50 girls in the United States to be chosen to compete in the Miss Teen America pageant as Miss Golden State Teen America 2003 representing California.
