Tommy Stewart

Thomas David Stewart was born in Orange Park, Florida to Caroline Kennedy (registered nurse) and David Hermance Stewart (former Army officer turned career con man who has been sentenced to federal prison four times). By the time he was nine years old, he had lived in six different houses in three different states and had visited his father in three different prisons. His last move, at age nine, came when his parents divorced and he moved back to his mothers hometown of Deep Run, a small farming community in eastern North Carolina. He graduated from South Lenoir High School where he excelled in football, basketball and track. He received Bachelor of Science in Economics from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. His original career plan was to sell cars for a few years and then go to law school. However, his sales career took off and law school went by the wayside. His middle school teacher had encouraged him to pursue acting, but sports took up all his time at that point. But he never forgot her encouragement , so after ten years in sales he began taking acting classes and auditioning. His first role came in 2017 on the Investigation Discovery Channel. In 2018 he had his first lead role on "Murder Chose Me," also on ID Channel. In 2019 he had his first lead role in a production play "Vanya & Sonya & Masha & Spike" at the Magnolia Arts Center. In 2019 he moved to New York City to begin studying acting with The William Esper Studio's two year Meisner Acting Program and with Shane Ann-Younts' Voice and Speech Program.
