Scott A. Vancil (a.k.a Scotty V. Or Scott A/V) was born in McPherson, Kansas as the youngest child, and he studied theatre and film at the University of Kansas (KU), before gaining his certificate in Acting for the Camera at the UCLA Professional Program taught by many industry guests. He is an actor, writer, director content creator, film critic, host, and performance artist who writes in standard format as well as poetic verse, most commonly iambic pentameter. As an actor it has been said he resembles a young Harrison Ford, Ewan McGregor, Edward Norton, David Warner, William Hurt, and Jake Gyllenhaal. David Dean Bottrell, Scott's acting teacher at UCLA, once said of Scott's acting, "Scott can make me laugh out loud and occasionally scares the sh** out of me. I highly recommend him." His Dream role is Marvel's Daredevil. He also hopes to one day play Quinn in a reboot of the science fiction TV series Sliders.
