Luccia was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. As a child she had an affinity towards many different forms of art. She began performing at a young age doing community theater and competing and winning performance competitions for the local radio station. She continued to her journey across stages along the east coast including the Walnut Street Theater in Philadelphia. Her on screen debut was the lead role for "Loves Me Not", depicting Helena a victim of Stockholm Syndrome. The film played at various film festivals and received multiple awards. Stumbling upon The Second City Hollywood in California she developed a love for comedy and improvisation, and has received training under The Second City as a member of their conservatory program as well as trained under former Mad TV cast member Eric Price.
