Colleen Sproull was born Colleen Rachel Pettie in sunny Tallahassee, FL on the popular birthday April 25. Growing up, she had to compete with the other kids who had the same birthday for parties. Her mother, Carolyn has always called her a Tallahassee Lassie. She trained 6 days a week to be a professional ballet dancer and right before high school ended she sustained multiple injuries that set her on a different path still with creative flair to music and acting. So she attended James Madison University in Virginia for the glorious parties and excellent school of music, theatre, film and dance. Soon after graduation she married her highschool sweetheart Peter Sproull and moved to the DC area to pursue the city life. She performed onstage and dove into independent shorts and web series, such as the comedy Group House and southern belle drama Iron Lace. She is known for her work in Once Upon an Elevator, Tiebreaker (2011), Tips for Magicians (2013), Arrange to Settle (2014) and in reenactments for The 700 Club, The Travel Channel and The Weather Channel. She performs in Sktch Shw at The Peoples Improv Theater in NYC and studies improv and comedy technique while pursuing a career in TV sitcom land.
