Emily Mason

Emily Mason was born on June 9th, 1989 and was raised in Newton, Massachusetts. She began her film career after changing her major from Marine Science to Interdisciplinary Arts during her junior year of college at Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, Florida. She soon discovered that film editing was the perfect melding of technology and art, and she followed her new-found passion by teaching herself Avid and editing a variety of shorts, commercials, and her first full length feature "Baine". After receiving her B.A. in 2011, she moved to Los Angeles to further her career. She and director Robert Burdsall founded Redshift Entertainment, an independent production company dedicated to producing entertaining, creative and inspiring films.
