Nicholas Marchese is an independent filmmaker, singer and actor. He has been involved in the creative arts for over nine years. Since age six, Nicholas has been writing and producing his own stage plays. Inspired by his passion for performing and storytelling, he chose to take his acting to the next level and began performing in Community Theater. His film works include his first short film, Fuhgeddaboudit (2011), a mafia spoof that he directed and starred in, Poor Money (2012) and Locker Doom (2013). During the tragedy of the Newtown school shootings, Nicholas created his first documentary, Lock Down (2013), a special short film which asked a very tough question to students, teachers and school staff, "What would you do if an intruder got into your school"? In the end of 2014 Marchese created a 12 minute biography of The Holmdel Theatre Company. A very historic and emotionally inspiring film of a local NJ theaters rustic past and vibrant future. Finally, he wrote, directed and produced his first feature film, My Brother's Girlfriend (2015), a dramatic-comedy about a lost and confused teenager struggling through his everyday routine who finds his way in life with the help of an unexpected and ironic relationship.
