Michael Goyeneche was born November 21, 1962, is of Basque & Mexican decent and a little Italian. Born in Oakland, CA, Michael's family moved to San Leandro a suburb of the San Francisco Bay Area when he was just 1 years old. He attended Chico State where he studied Broadcast Journalism. A break through role for MIchael was as rogue cop Cpl. Espinosa in "A-Town." He has a recurring role on the El Rey Network Series, "Sangre Negra". Mike plays Gino "Smiley" Ferrara, a Mafia Henchman to Mob Boss Vinnie Sabatini played by Robert Miano. "Sangre Negra" stars Antonio McKay who is also the writer and producer. Other notable actors on the show are Erik Estrada and Eric Roberts. Michael enjoys comedic roles such as " Hollywood's Worst Personal Trainer" on Funny or Die Website, but often finds himself in dramatic roles, specializing in portraying Mafia characters. He also portrayed Al Capone on the TV show, Hotel Secrets and Legends on the Travel Channel. He is also working on his personal project The Godfather In-Law a comedy in which he writes and stars in.
