Razane Jammal is British-Lebanese actress and model. She started her career in her mid-teens in advertising, eventually moving onto feature films. Her feature debut came in 2010, when she landed a role alongside actor Edgar Ramirez in Olivier Assayas' Golden Globe-winning 'Carlos', which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. She later worked with Kanye West on his 7-screen short film 'Cruel Summer'. In 2014, she appeared alongside Liam Neeson in Scott Frank's 'A Walk Among The Tombstones', followed a year later by Robert Guediguian's 'Don't Tell Me The Boy Was Mad', which was part of the official selection at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. In 2016, she landed the lead role in Eric & Quentin's French comedy 'Bad Buzz'. On the small screen, Jammal worked alongside Tunisian actress Hend Sabry in 2014's wildly successful TV comedy series 'Embratoreyet Meen' on MBC. She followed that up a year later with the second season of 'Saraya Abdeen', which featured Syrian actor Kosai Khauli and Egypt's legendary Yosra. In 2016, she filmed two episodes of upcoming American series 'Berlin Station' (Epix Network) with Rhys Ifans, Richard Jenkins and Michelle Forbes. And in 2019, she filmed an episode along side Alessandro Nivola in Channel 4's mini-series, 'Chimerica'. She's the former face of Chanel in the Middle East, and has featured on the cover of L'Officiel, Marie Claire, Harpers Bazar, Plastik, and others. Her most recent work includes 'Paranormal', a Netflix series directed by Amr Salama and Majed al Ansari, inspired by the wildly successful books 'Ma wara al tabia' by the late Ahmed Khalid Tawfik, coming out Fall 2020. She plays the role of Maggie Maccaleb and is joined by actors Ahmed Amin and Ayah Samaha. You can also watch her play Dr.Iman in the Shahid original show 'Al Shak', released in June 2020.
