Mark Shockley came to Los Angeles over 20 years ago, his love of documentary filmmaking drawing him west. In 2006, Shockley formed Evolution LA, a creative agency that promotes top-tier movies and brands. He's worked with many of the biggest names in Hollywood from legendary directors David Fincher and Ang Lee, to acclaimed talent Ryan Reynolds and Beyonce. Shockley and his talented cohorts have worked on several of entertainment's most well-loved franchises. X-Men, Ice Age, Avengers, Mission: Impossible, and Transformers have all benefited from Evolution's savvy and good taste. In 2008, Shockley also co-founded GreenScreen Animals, a media company specializing in animal footage for compositing. Since then, GSA has become the world's largest provider of animal content on green screen. Whether for stock or custom productions, Shockley produces and directs work that sets the bar for production value, innovation, and safety. GSA's animals appear in movies like Gone Girl, Goodbye Christopher Robin, The Art of Racing in the Rain, and TV shows like The Tonight Show, Kevin Can Wait, and the acclaimed American Gods. Mark Shockley is based in Santa Monica where he runs his companies, raises his kids, and hopes to one day start yoga.
