Dani was born on a ranch outside Fresno, CA to Dennis and Deborah Lencioni, a blacksmith and an English teacher. She attended Centerville Elementary School, Sanger Academy Charter School, and University High School, focusing on sports (soccer and softball) and music (percussion, piano, singing). Dani became interested in acting in high school, was cast in school plays, and decided to pursue a career in theatre. She majored in Theatre Arts and English at Santa Clara University, graduating in 2010 with honors. Shortly after graduating, Dani moved to Philadelphia, where she was cast in her first feature film Where Did You Sleep Last Night directed by Bill Birrell, starring Luke Bracey and Lydia Hearst. Dani currently lives in Brooklyn, NY.
