It's where my world slows down, life lines up and I become the good guy, the bad guy, the funny guy, the other-worldly guy, the I-never-saw-that-coming guy. Making people laugh, cry, shake their head or spit-take... it's my happy-place. + I've had the great honour of studying performance and life from Jerry Stiller, Robin Duke, Joe Flaherty, John Dunsworth and Albert Howell to name but a few + In the rare times I have a few moments away from performing, I run, hunt the Muse and play guitar like nobody's watching. + Where the fire began + My portrayal of "Boy Kicking Soccer Ball" in a 1983, Kentucky Fried Chicken commercial was my first BIG break in showbiz. Free chicken, fifty-bucks and vast amounts of "atta-boy's" from my parents. What a day, what a payday, I was hooked! + The spark + A few years later, another national commercial put me on-screen as a "street-kid-drummer". The Canada Census Day campaign was the first time I dug into the process of character development. My music world and acting collide. + The flash + Finally, while attending the renowned Victoria School of the Performing Arts (other alums include Lesley Nielsen and Tommy Chong), I was once again thrust into the spotlight as a "featured performer" on the much loved TV series, "Jake and the Kid". That two-season, 21-episode run on "Jake" cemented my need to keep treading the boards for the rest of my days. + The fire burns +
