Marlene was born in the city of Montreal and she is the third to the youngest of seven children. She grew up in Chateauguay (just outside Montreal) and the outdoors joining hockey, baseball and also ballet and piano. She loved to read books from an early age reading 3-4 books a week. She has Irish/Scottish ancestry on her Mother's side and Ukrainian on her father's side (Margaret and Johnnie Pacholka) both born in Canada and the family (seven children) came to California in the 60's. Her Mother was a school teacher and father worked at Boeing until he retired. She traveled to many different countries in Europe and UK in her mid-20's including the M.E. in 2000. Then studied business law at La Verne, a Private University while working in Aerospace NASA program Space Shuttle and Satellite Communications. They recently did a documentary on the space shuttle program that Marlene was involved. She now has a Master's of Science in Leadership Management degree (Summa cum Laude 4.0) and a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing Management. Her present company Gilt Enter Films, Inc. is an independent global film development, high end story and production company and leadership consulting firm. They have a strong diversified presence in the industry. The newest venture for 2017 is "Empire of the Heart". The book is selling on Amazon.com and also "The Mob A Women's Revenge book and other worldwide book sites. Another film is "Galaxy Watch (The Galacteran Legacy) (the book is also selling on Amazon.com owned by Gilt Enter Films Inc. She also has two other films in process: "Don't Stand So Close to Me" with others in development. She is presently Executive Producer on some new films. She will be dedicating her future projects in Memory of Michelle Rousso her daughter who passed away of Leukemia May, 2016. The documentary "The Rebel Girl" will tell their story.
