Julia Creus is an Spanish actress known for her role as "Mónica De Villamore" in the Netflix series "Merlí". Born and raised in Tarragona (Spain), Creus began her career in 2010 in small theater productions and made her screen debut at the age of 16 in an episode of the Catalan soap opera series "Ventdelpla". She later has appeared on films like "Tres Bodas De Mas", "Los Ultimos Dias" and "Ahora o nunca" but her breakthrough came in 2015, in the Catalan teenage drama series "Merli". She has gone on to star in series like "Boca Norte" a Spanish musical-drama series for the national TV (RTVE) and Playz or "Centro Medico". She also has played the role of "Ms. Rogers" in the Spanish adaptation of the play "Y No Quedara Ninguno" based on Agatha Christies' "Ten Little Niggers" and "Paula" in the teenage Catalan-musical "Boig per tu". Since she started her career and until her breakthrough, Julia used to work as a Stuntwoman too with "Inextremis Film services". When she was young she used to be a professional Rhythmic Gymnastics dancer competing in Nationals for several years. After retiring from the tapestry she studied three years at the ballet conservatory but realized that it was not what she wanted. So keeping the dance as a hobby she began to train as an actress.
