Chad has been working in mass media for 30 years. A graduate of the University of Tulsa (1993), he has written extensively for over 30 print and online publications such as Relevant, CCM, Christian Retailing, New Man, Charisma, Today's Christian, Ministries Today, Sports Spectrum, Christian Single, Faith & Friends, FCA Magazine, Gospel Today, and Beliefnet.com where he spent five years writing two columns: "Inspiring Athletes" and "Whole Notes: Inside the Christian Music Scene." Chad has authored, co-authored or ghost written 31 books including The Battle For Brandon (Cross Training), Everybody Needs A Head Coach (Cross Training), The Seven C's of Leadership (CreateSpace), God Speed (Cross Training), Wrestling with God (River Oak), 3D Coach (Regal Books), Life In The Fairway (New Leaf Press), Faith In The Fast Lane (Judson Press), Greatest Coach Ever (Regal Books), Greatest Leader Ever (Regal Books), Glory of the Games (Cross Training), and Living It Loud (Cross Training). He has collaborated on writing projects with numerous high profile sports and ministry figures such as Bobby Bowden, Tony Dungy, Tom Osborne, David Robinson, Joe Girardi, Miles McPherson, John Maxwell, Pat Williams, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, Les Steckel, Kyle Korver, Charlie Ward, Tamika Catchings, and John Wooden. Chad has written FCA's summer camp curriculum for the 2008-21 FCA Athletes Bible (B&H) and has contributed to over 30 FCA Bible and devotional projects including the FCA Baseball New Testament, the FCA Hockey New Testament and the FCA Wrestling New Testament.. Along with his work as a journalist and author, Chad has enjoyed success as a broadcast and film producer. He was the coordinator producer for the Brightbulb Entertainment and ACLJ Films documentaries Life Happens and Choosing Life, and most recently the producer, director and writer of The Battle For Brandon (post-production). Chad is the also the producer, writer and director on Before The Kick: The Brian Kinchen Story (post-production), "The ProFiles," (pre-production), The Competitor's Gospel (pre-production) and "Divided Hearts of America (2020). Chad is also CEO and co-founder of 51 West Entertainment. Chad has also written two screenplays including "Miracle Comeback," which is in development. Most recently, Chad has taken his media experience into the faith-based marketing world as a consultant for various companies such as Ribbow Media, Provident Films, Pure Flix Entertainment, and Affirm Films. He has worked on the marketing teams for several movies including God's Not Dead, Do You Believe, The Remaining, When The Game Stands Tall, Faith of Our Fathers, Mom's Night Out, War Room, Masked Saint, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone, The Identical, and Woodlawn. Chad and his wife Amy live in Broken Arrow, Okla., with sons Lance (2003), Cole (2008) and Quinn (2011).
