Brandon Loulias

Brandon is a fourth-generation sound mixer and a member of IATSE local 695 based in Los Angeles, California, specializing in narrative and episodic production sound. He has been part of the nomination for three Cinema Audio Society awards, and two Emmy's for best sound mixing. He started recording music in his early teens, eventually working at music studios as a freelance mixing engineer and touring session musician. As he entered his twenties he was introduced to post sound, and started working for a company called King Soundworks. This was a comprehensive experience as to what is required to build the final product of a soundtrack for film and TV. Eventually gravitating towards production sound through clients, he got into doing both the production and post sound for the same films, which gave perspective on how to plan for the complete soundtrack. He has worked all over the world- in any climate and conditions imaginable. Equipped with an embarrassing amount of gear, he is prepared for any possible situation on a film set.
