Kurt Lamarr (actor/voice-over artist) is based in Atlanta, Georgia. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he received a Masters degree in Guidance & Counseling from Bowling Green State University. His love for the arts began as a child when he sang in various choirs, read stories to his classmates, played the piano, and performed in several local community theater productions. Mr. Lamarr started his professional career in higher education as a college administrator and student advisor. He continued to work in higher education and student affairs for many years prior to pursuing his acting career. He began his love for acting in the voice over industry. Prior to doing voice overs, he was a part-time on-air traffic and news reporter for Metro Westwood One. This experience introduced him into the world of voice overs. He has voiced commercials for Home Depot, Georgia Power, Publix, Subway, and BET Television to name a few. His first major television commercial was for ESPN/ABC television, and he now has several television and film credits. Kurt Lamarr infuses his educational background into his acting skills in order to educate, motivate, encourage, and inspire others.
