Matthew James Murphy is an actor and composer, known for RENT (Broadway, both national tours), composed his finale song "Hold Your Dreams" for the MGM remake of the movie Fame (2009) along with other song placements on TV. Matthew got his start in his hometown Cleveland, Ohio, appearing on Hickory Hideout (1984-87).
