Gene Rouzzoe

Gene Jack Rouzzoe aka General Rouj (G Rouj) is a native of Haiti and lives in Florida. Representing his red and blue country colors, he is truly eclectic! A performing artist since a young age in acting and music. He has done numerous projects with Gary Davis' Chocolate Star from film to music. A character actor at his best! In addition he has done tons of commercials and indie films. As far as music, it is a blend of music styles including: Hip hop, Reggae, Blues, Jazz, R&B and more, he is true to his Haitian heritage as a performing artist. Influenced by his mentor Gary Davis of Chocolate Star as well as popular celebs such as Wesley Snipes, Notorious Big, Denzel Washington, Wyclef, Talib Kweli, Outcast, Snoop and more, he is very non-discriminant in his performances live and recorded. Recently, he was in Haiti and started a group called Union Force, and is on a mission to bring the movement back into Hip Hop.
