Bailey Tom Bailey

Bailey Tom Bailey is a writer, director and editor of short, promos and long-form. He has a background in visual arts before coming to filmmaking. His work straddles dark comedy-drama with psychological thriller-horror, in stories that centre on the human body and find the surreal in the everyday. His work has featured at; Slamdance, Fright Fest, Clermont Ferrand, Nowness, Short of the Week, London Short FF, Aesthetica, Raindance, East End, Leeds International, European Independent, Flicker's Rhode Island and British Urban FF, Promo News. As an editor, he has worked for clients including Nike, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Gucci, Dazed, Somesuch, Partizan, AMV and BBH. Bailey is an alumnus of the Berlinale Talent Campus (2011), BAFTA Crew (2019-20), Bournemouth Film School (AUCB) (2011) and studied Meisner acting technique (2018). His photography has been exhibited at The Barbican and been published online by Huck Magazine. He is developing several long form projects in development; one of which was shortlisted for the European Film Lab development scheme.
