John Kyle Sutton

It's not often you find an actor who's lived inside of an escape room on the Hollywood Boulevard for a portion of his life. It's also not often you find a Caucasian-American from Boise, Idaho performing in a reggaeton duo at Russell Simmons' health club in Bali, Indonesia. Enter: John Kyle Sutton; a sort of Mark Wahlberg/Channing Tatem charm with a Hugh Jackman class and a Benicio Del Toro intensity. Growing up in cozy Boise, Idaho let young JK imagination run wild. A hyper little kid, he was often found recreating scenes he had scene from movies like Escape from New York, Big Trouble in Little China, Ninja Turtles and The Terminator. It wasn't until JK moved to Los Angeles in 2012 did he become known as John Kyle Sutton John Kyle is the only son (among two) of Idaho parents, Karen Strahler, a dental assistant, and John Eric Sutton, a civil and criminal defense attorney. His mother was from Boise, Idaho and his father was from Hialiah, Florida. John Kyle has German, Swiss, Irish, English and native American (of the Wompanog tribe) ancestry. Young John Kyle bounced back and forth between schools after his parents divorce when he was five years old. By the time he was 14 he had attended 8 different schools in his hometown of Boise, Idaho. While in college, John Kyle an advocate for environmental and animal issues, heading up the volunteer services board at his university. He always an interest in acting and viewed the Hollywood culture very conducive to his philanthropic goals. He finished school with a dual degree and with one completed movie under his belt, headed for Los Angeles and a possible acting career. The next 6 years of his life were a struggle. The pressures of Los Angeles living were far more than his native Boise, Idaho and he often found himself short on rent and long on unemployment. He paid the bills with his bar-tending skills and fit modeling for DC Comic superhero costumes and a well-known underwear brand. It wasn't until fall of 2018 when he got his big break in acting. John Kyle sparked the attention of two of Hollywood's most sought-after directors with self-produced projects. John Kyle Sutton bounces back and forth between LA, New York and visiting family in his hometown of Boise, Idaho.
