Tasmin Lucia-Khan is Chief Executive Officer of film company, WR Entertainment, a publicly traded company on the Oslo Stock Exchange, with head quarters in Los Angeles. She is a Media Entrepreneur and has been a News Anchor and Producer for the likes of the BBC, ITV and NBC for over 15 years, producing and directing over 5,000 television programs, broadcasting to audiences of millions covering news, political and entertainment stories in over 30 countries worldwide. Whilst she's had an extensive media career, her achievements in business, technology and advertising over the past decade have been commendable. Lucia-Khan was named Entrepreneur of the Year from the UK Lloyds Banking Group in 2014/2015, served as Vice President of Strategy at AdMaxim, one of the world's leading mobile advertising agencies, and was Chief Operating Officer of Sivvr, which was named Top Digital Influencer in 2015 by the United Nations. Lucia-Khan holds an Oxford University degree and honorary Masters in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. Lucia-Khan is now producing a slate of films for WR Entertainment who are focused on producing high quality motion pictures based on excellent literary content. One of WR Entertainment's largest IP assets comes from the Morgan Kane book series. WR holds the film, licensing, merchandising and eBook publishing rights to the 83 titles in the series which has been published in 11 languages, and has sold over 20 million copies in Northern Europe alone, making it the 70th best selling book series in the world. Lucia-Khan is a keynote speaker having spoken at many conferences and on global televised stages including Mobile World Congress, Engage Summit and CES. She is an early adopter and promoter of technology and in particular has been instrumental on Twitter's video live streaming app Periscope and has been seen as one of the world's leading social media influencers on the platform. Lucia-Khan is a household name in the UK having been appointed the face of BBC Three News and lead anchor on BBC News program E24 in 2008. Lucia-Khan was head hunted from the BBC to launch rival channel ITV's morning television show in late 2010. In the U.S. she became NBC Extra's Special Correspondent in 2012 and now resides in Los Angeles. Lucia-Khan has broken live on air, some of the biggest news stories in the last decade including the Asian Boxing Day Tsunami in 2004, the death of Michael Jackson in 2009, and Osama Bin Laden's death in 2011.
