Oliver Kwon is an international film producer and founder/executive director of Americas Film Conservancy (AFC), a nonprofit dedicated to the promotion, development, production and preservation of Brazilian & Latin American film as a cultural and historical resource. AFC serves as a corporate sponsor of the "Filmmakers of Tomorrow Program" of the Telluride Film Festival, where at its 40th anniversary (Sep 2013), Kwon launched his first book "Latin American Cinema Today: The Director's Perspective". Kwon is an executive producer of Rio I Love You (filming Oct 2013), Dirty Hearts (Brazil-Japan 2012), Tropicalia (Telluride 2011) & Hollywood Don't Surf (Cannes 2010). He has lived, studied and worked extensively in the U.S., East Asia, Western/Eastern Europe and South America, and speaks 8 languages (incl. Portuguese, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Russian, Italian).
