Ernie Chandler was born in Roanoke, Virginia. It all started as a child when he loved being the star of the family home movies. During his school years, he played Soccer, Basketball, and was involved in many school and church productions. In 2001, Ernie and his wife Tonya, were cast as "Art Patrons" in the movie, "Identity Lost". This film was produced in Roanoke, Virginia, and directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. Ernie and Tonya's audition was covered by a local television station, "WSLS 10". Ernie experienced his first television break when he was cast by "Morman Boling Casting" as "Gus the line cook" on an episode of "Southern Fried Stings" on "TruTV". Ernie continues to follow his dream of working on the big screen. Ernie is easy to work with and a standout on camera.
