Michael Justice

Born in Barnsley (near Sheffield) in South Yorkshire, England, Michael began his acting career as a child in local in school productions. When turning 18 he moved to Manchester to complete his actor training at the Arden School of Theatre, under the tutelage of Wyllie Longmore, who had begun this pragmatic approach to actor training over a decade earlier. Whilst training, Michael began a real connection with live audiences and soon realised his main focus would be the theatre, though, as for all working actors, he would soon branch out into all mediums. He also found a natural connection with circus, physical theatre, mask and clowning, and has since had a healthy career as a street performer for many companies, performing to thousands every summer at events and venues all over the UK and Europe. Whilst still training he specialised in Stage Comabt, and soon received the highest qualification as from the British Academy of Dramatic Combat, as was registered as an Advanced Fighter. This is a skill he has continued throughout his career and also led to him co-founding Troop theatre company who specialise in performance with such skills. He also works as a fight teacher and choreographer. Since completing his training he has performed in Theatre, TV and film, and has performed such iconic roles as John Osborne's Jimmy Porter, in Look Back in Anger, and Benedick in Shakespeare's Much Ado about nothing. He has began to complete more film work in 2010 with appearances in 2 national commercial campaigns and his first professional feature film, The Turing Enigma. He still resides in Manchester, though often on tour, and has quite a reputation for his Shakespeare work.
