From the young age of thirteen years old, Angelos expressed his passion for still photography. With that as a motivating power and upon graduating high school, he entered the Technological Institute of Athens' Photography and Digital Arts department. He simultaneously worked as a photographer's assistant in the fashion decoration and sports fields, for magazines like Vogue, Maison Figaro, Maison Decoration, and Auto Car. In order to master a diverse tool-set for his creativity, he soon set out to learn all different angles of a photographer's job and worked in post-production as an image manipulator, color grader and compositor. This knowledge and experience along with two photo exhibitions that got the industry's notice, became his ticket to study at the famous National Film University of Czech Republic in Prague (FAMU). Under the mentoring of Michael Gahut FAMU's Cinematography department chair, Angelos again stood out. Two of his student films were selected for the University archives, and are being used as examples for educational purposes. Since 2008, Angelos has been one of the most sought-after talent in Greece, consistently working as a director of photography in cinema, TV, advertising, theater and live events. In those particular situations, were cinematography intersects with art, he also works as a visual artist.
