Yvonne Mc Devitt is an Irish Film Director. After reading Drama at Trinity College Dublin, she served an apprenticeship with American Director Robert Wilson at L'Opéra Bastille in Paris. After Artistic Associateships at the Royal Court, Young Vic and National Theatres in London, her productions played on the main stages of Russia (Hermitage Theatre, Moscow), France (Théâtre National Populaire, Lyon) and Norway (National Theatre, Oslo). She was awarded the Jerwood Directors Award (Young Vic Theatre) in 2002 and the Judith E. Wilson Drama Fellowship at the University of Cambridge 2004-06. Her first feature film 2GRAVES (with a score by Michael Nyman) premiered at the East End Festival in London in 2013. Her first short film HORSE (2014) premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh. TIME (2015) and BLINDNESS (2016) followed thereafter, both premiering at the Festival de Cannes.
